Volunteering
We’re currently calling for expressions of interest for season 2023.
We couldn’t field over 20 teams and organise over 450 players without the generous support of our volunteers.
By becoming a volunteer you’ll be:
enriching your time as a parent or caregiver of a junior footy player
making a positive contribution to your child’s junior footy experience
giving your time and service to the broader junior footy community
So why not give it a shot in season 2023?
Whatever your level of time and commitment maybe, there’s an opportunity for you to get involved.
For casual once-off involvement, look at signing up to help support our important fundraising events, such as the pop up stall, training dinners or Ladies Lunch
For more active or ongoing involvement, consider becoming a team manager coordinator, trainer coordinator or filling another committee role
As outlined at the time of registration, we do need and expect parents and caregivers to fill either:
a season role, such as coach, assistant coach, team manager, umpire (junior and youth teams) or trainer (first aid officer). To learn more about coaches, click here. To learn more about team managers, click here.
a match day role (runner, water carrier, time keeper, boundary umpire, goal umpire). To learn more about match day roles, click here.
In filling any season or match day role, you’ll be fully supported with information and resources from the club and the cost of becoming accredited is reimbursed by the club.
If you’re able to volunteer - or curious about finding out more about volunteering - please contact me.
All allocated junior footy volunteer roles require a WWCC. For further info on volunteer accreditations, click here.
Thanks for your interest and support!
